To make a secure gift with a credit/debit card, call the Advancement Office at (207) 487-5915 or use our secure Giving sites, where you can give to The MCI Annual Fund, Endowment, Norbert Sr. & Maple Young Fund for Excellence, or Gift Smorgasbord. 

Please make checks payable to Maine Central Institute and be sure to include your name and class year (if applicable). Indicate the purpose of your gift on the memo line; if not otherwise indicated, your gift will be credited to The MCI Annual Fund. Donations of appreciated stock or securities are an easy and cost‐effective way to support MCI. When you transfer ownership of holdings, you receive a charitable deduction for their full market value—and incur no capital gains tax (subject to IRS deduction limits). Many gifts to MCI qualify for corporate matches from an employer. This is a great opportunity to double or even triple your gift to MCI. Please contact the Advancement Office at (207) 487-5915 or your human resources department to see if you qualify.

Also known as qualified charitable distributions, IRA Charitable Rollovers allows donors age 70½ or older to transfer up to $100,000 annually to a charity without claiming the distribution as income. To learn more, give us a call at (207) 487-5915.

The donor-advised fund (DAF) is an increasingly popular way to make a charitable gift. Donor-advised funds can provide you with immediate tax benefits while making your charitable giving easier.
