Asbestos Containing Building Materials

Because MCI is committed to provide a safe environment for all people associated with the educational process, we have taken a proactive approach to evaluating, managing and, as necessary, removing any asbestos containing materials (ACBM) found on campus.

MCI has a written plan for managing ACBM, such as pipe insulation and floor tiles. While our minimum obligation is to comply with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act regulations that require biannual inspections of all buildings, MCI's practices go above and beyond to ensure a safe environment for students, faculty/staff and visitors.
