Campus Safety
MCI is located in Maine, which enjoys and values a very low incidence of violent crime. MCI promotes an atmosphere of respect and safety for all students and faculty. Throughout the school year, we conduct several fire and active shooter drills to protect our community from violence, exposure to weapons and threats, theft, bullying, and the sale or use of illegal substances on school grounds.
Safety at school results in enhanced student and school outcomes. MCI faculty and staff consider the emotional and physical safety of all students essential to their academic success. Students who are victims of physical or emotional harassment or who are involved in the sale or use of illegal substances on school grounds are at risk for poor attendance, academic failure and dropout.
A Safe Environment Keeps MCI Strong
MCI strives to maintain a safe environment for students, employees and visitors. This is why we ensure our campus conforms to high standards of health and safety. Our goal is to keep everyone safe from risk of exposure to potential hazardous materials and pollutants.
