The complete Bossov Ballet Program runs after school into early evenings from 3:15 to 7:00 p.m., as well as on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The program includes classes in technique, pointe, pre-pointe and character, auditions, rehearsals, and two performances – The Nutcracker in December and a spring performance. In order to participate in both The Nutcracker and spring performance, students must attend the afternoon program.
Fees vary depending on the level of classes that your child will be taking. For your convenience, you may either pay in full or in nine monthly installments beginning in September. Payments are accepted by check (made payable to Maine Central Institute) or by credit card through our online payment form. MCI currently accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover
- Beginners: $396 per year (or nine monthly payments of $44 - minimum class size of four required)
- Level 1: $900 (or nine monthly payments of $100)
- Level 2: $1,800 (or nine monthly payments of $200)
- Level 3: $2,853 (or nine monthly payments of $317)
A limited number of scholarships may be available for our male students. Please call for more information.
Fees should be paid to the MCI Business Office (in Founders Hall) by the first of each month or a finance charge will be assessed. Prepayments are welcome.
We are please to offer a sliding-scale for Bossov families with multiple children in the program. Sliding-scale payments are not currently accepted online. For more information, please contact the MCI Business Office at (207) 487-4454.

- Second child: 10% discount
- Third child: 15% discount
- Fourth child and more: 20% discount
Drop-In Class Option
BBT now offers a Drop-in Class option. Dancers interested in this option must register for this option. Forms are available during the registration period in the fall or from MCI's Business Office.
The fee for drop-in classes are as follows:
- Level 2 Technique Class: $20 per class
- Level 3 Technique Class: $25 per class
- Technique / Character Combination: $35 per class
Dancers interested in this option can prepay for a specific number of drop-in classes when you register, or pay with cash or check at the beginning of your drop-in class. Those who choose to pay at the beginning of class will have to remain outside the studio until they make their payment.
Drop-in Class participants will not be able to participate in any performances – including school performances, The Nutcracker or the spring performance. This option simply does not allow enough training or preparation for performances. If a student starts out with the Full Program Option and changes to the Drop-in Option during the year (September through May), s/he will no longer be eligible for any performances, even if s/he begins the full program again.
