School of Schools

Housed within an MCI education, there are six different graduation-tracks that our students will choose from based on their own individual interests and career goals. These Schools are broad and far-reaching with the goal of fulfilling all of our students passions and needs. We challenge our students to "Experience MAINE" through five different Schools of study: Math & Science, Arts & Humanities, Industry & Trades, Nature, and Engineering. For students looking for a more traditional experience or unsure of their career goals, the School of Exploration gives students a variety of different courses and experiences. Learn more about MCI's new curriculum below, and click here to read our School of Schools & Pathways Student Planner.

Ultimately, we wanted to develop a model that gave students more freedom to pursue their passions, without taking away the flexibility to explore in other areas of interest. That’s the beauty of the School of School’s model. It allows more focus and engagement when wanted, but does not limit the flexibility to explore when needed.
