MCI Registration/School Information

New students:

RSU 53 - REGISTRATION FOR STUDENTS LIVING IN PITTSFIELD, BURNHAM, or DETROIT:

Students living in any of these communities must first complete a resident form with the RSU 53 Supt. Office – 207-487-5107 at School Street, Pittsfield, ME. Second, contact the MCI Registrar at (207) 487-4453, ext. 125 (email: dcray@mci-school.org) for an appointment to complete the final registration with Maine Central Institute.

REGISTRATION FOR STUDENTS NON-RESIDENTS:

Students requesting to attend from outside these communities must contact our Admissions Office at 207-487-3355, ext. 127 (email jcloutier@mci-school.org).

ALL MCI STUDENTS and PARENTS/GUARDIANS

Maine Central Institute continues its efforts to enhance electronic communication with parent(s)/guardian(s) and student(s). You have the ability to view your child’s grades, attendance, and other information securely via the Internet using the PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal. Parents must have an email account in order for a login to be assigned.

A PowerSchool Student account will be created. Each student account as a unique username and password to obtain access. Students need to keep their password confidential so only they have access to their information. Contact the Registrar for your information to access the MCI PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal. Access to the MCI PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal is through this link: https://mci.powerschool.com/public

Mobile apps for PowerSchool can be found at the App Store or Google Play. You will need the district code of DSNM along with your user information to access the app.

If you have any problems gaining access to the PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal, please contact Donna Cray at 207-487-4453, ext. 125 (email: dcray@mci-school.org).

Once you have completed your set up, parents need to complete the PowerSchool Registration on the left menu as soon as possible. Email Mrs. Cray and let her know you have completed the PowerSchool Registration and she will set you up an appointment to complete other information/forms in her office and to meet with an academic counselor for selection of courses.
